What We Do

As a previous habitant of Haiti and a medical student at Emory University, my heart is heavy with concern for Haiti's plight. The pervasive influence of gangs has darkened the lives of its people, particularly its children. In response to these daunting challenges, my father, a devoted physician in Haiti, has launched a grassroots endeavor to tackle a pressing issue: providing nourishment for the children in the community.

Our Mission

Bright Futures Food Fund (BFFF) is dedicated to nourishing the hearts and minds of Haiti's youth. Our mission is to alleviate hunger among children, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals that empower them to thrive. Through community engagement, sustainable solutions, and a commitment to long-term impact, we strive to create a safe space for every child in carrefour by addressing their fundamental need for nourishment.

“There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children.”

— Nelson Mandela

What We’ve Achieved

  • For the past 8 months, we have consistently set up food donation events on Saturdays

  • We had a Christmas event where gifts and food were given to more than 300 kids

  • We are slowly growing to provide consistent aid and security for the children.

  • We have created a safe space for the kids to come and play soccer and other sports
